Community Guidelines
MUAH connects Clients with independent beauty professionals. It only works when everyone treats each other with respect and keeps things safe. These guidelines apply to everyone.
Be respectful
- Treat other people with courtesy. No harassment, threats, hate speech, or discrimination of any kind.
- No impersonation, spam, or fraudulent behaviour.
- Communicate clearly and honestly about services, availability, and expectations.
Keep it on MUAH
- Book, message, and pay through the App. Taking transactions off-platform removes your protections and is not allowed.
- Do not share or ask for personal contact details to move a booking off MUAH. We mask contact details in messages.
Post responsibly
- Only upload content you own or have permission to share.
- No unlawful, obscene, misleading, or unsafe content.
- Reviews must be honest and based on a genuine experience.
Stay safe
- Use the in-App safety features — arrival confirmation and the one-time arrival code — for in-person appointments.
- Precise addresses are shared only once a booking is accepted.
- Service Providers' licence and insurance declarations are self-declared and not verified by MUAH, and we do not carry out background checks. Please use your own judgement.
- MUAH does not provide an emergency service and does not monitor appointments in real time. In an emergency, contact the emergency services.
Enforcement
We use automated and human moderation. Breaking these guidelines can lead to content being removed and accounts being warned, restricted, suspended, or closed. Serious safety concerns are escalated for review.
